Only a matter of time...
The fleeting nature of time has been in the forefront of my mind. A friend's daughter was killed recently by a drunk driver. How should a dad respond to such tragedy?
Finding Him in the Bible
We will face these and other questions, and dads better have an answer. Now, I do not have all the answers, but I know where to look when I need help. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We can sit down with our children and find Him in the Bible.
God's Word: The Bottom Line
The Word of God is not a resource for believers. Rather, it is the Source for everything the faithful do and encounter.
Time! Isn't it amazing!
We all have the same amount of it, and yet we never seem to have enough of it. When you think about it time is one the most valuable commodities that we all possess. After all, there are only twenty-four hours in a given day no matter how wealthy one is, or how poor. The value in time is how we make use of it.
God's Most Freeing Choice
God was grieved and pained over the action of people. He is still grieved by the sinful choices of men today. What does this tell us about God’s most freeing choice? That He cares for all of us. Only a God who cares for His creation could be grieved by their disobedience. If He didn’t grieve then He wouldn’t care. We have an amazing God who cares for His creation.
    Words Of Wisdom

A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.
