I came across this in a church bulletin. For several months now, I've been making it a point to share things from bulletins and church signs. You may not realize it, but sharing uplifting or humorous messages from churches is a great way to be a witness to people.
Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park erupts every 35 to 120 minutes. Its exploding water and stream can reach a height of 184 feet, and it has been erupting in nearly the same fashion throughout the park’s recorded history since 1870. Its power is an awesome sight to behold, attracting almost four million visitors to the park every year.
Faithfulness is not common in today’s world. But our heavenly Father is always faithful. He says, “Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail” (Psalm 89:33).
He is faithful in:
Forgiving: If we confess our sins, he is faithful … to forgive (1 John 1:9).
Acknowledging our frailty: He remembers we are dust. (Psalm 103:14).
Including all: Thy faithfulness is unto all generations (Psalm 119:90)
Transforming us to be like Jesus (Romans 8:29).
Helping us in difficult times, guiding, comforting, delivering (Psalm 32:7).
Fulfilling His promises: My covenant will I not break (Psalm 89:34).
Unconditionally loving us (Romans 8:38-39).
Listing to our prayers (Psalm 4:3).
Never leaving us or forsaking us (Hebrews 13:5).
Encouraging through His Word: Making us wise and joyful (Psalm 19:7-11).
Saving us for all eternity (Hebrews 7:22-25).
Shielding us and surrounding us with His care (Psalm 5:12).
“O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?” (Psalm 89:8).
